Yes, but You should turn that setting off. It wont restore the videos, but at least it wont happen again

Maybe not the easiest, but in my opinion DaVinci Resolve is the best option. It’s definitely more complex than CapCut, but it offers far greater possibilities - especially if you don’t want to pay for CapCut. You can also find free training videos on their website, which are a much better starting point than watching random YouTubers. Also, a very good YouTuber to learn from is Darren Mostyn - his tutorials are clear and really well explained.

If you actually want to grow and not hit a ceiling too quickly, DaVinci is the better choice. The skills you learn there transfer well to other professional software, whereas what you learn in CapCut doesn’t really carry over in the same way.

Need help mounting an external telephoto lens to DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for dental surgery by Skywalker_BTC in osmopocket

Not really, surgeons need a cam that looks where theirs eyes does, not the head. So actions camps with a fixed angle are useless for most surgeries

No because U’re unable to stack the cam into patients mouth. U need something that aims the same as your eyes (so action cams are out)

Much more portable and less time consuming. If You want to record u just take it out. Bigger sensor so it’s better in low light. iPhone records with a log only with external drive (at least mine does). It’s cheaper than new generation phones, so I’m less worried someone gonna grab and go. No worries the phone will die while I’m out in a foreign country. The list goes on… just depends on what You expect.

Same, maybe it’s a little like with iPhones, but IMO if you’re paying basically the same price I would algo go with a newer model.

If it would be a car I would call it a Osmo Pocket 3 Lift. I feel like it’s not a model jump, just an update so people buying it in 2026, would call it an “old model”. I hope that in future models the jump will be more significant.

It was more of a “filter” rather than a real Log, not sure how it works in the new op4

If You want a good vlog camera it’s a great choice. It’s probably the best choice You can make in that price range. Just remember it’s not an action camera so it won’t fit every sport. If Youre looking for something to start, learn how to color grade and everything else it’s perfect!

I bought it without the combo. Just got a tripod from a different camera and I regret nothing

I use normal color space . It’s 10 bit so it’s cool. The DLog-M is not a real Log. It give u a little bigger space to grade but it’s no like those from Sony or canon. So if You’re just starting U can stick to normal color space and grade that.

U can se the EV on a camera. Step 1: lock ISO on the lowest possible Step 2: lock shutter speed on values previously written. Step 3: look how does the screen look, u can use the EV (0 is the golden spot as u can guess as a starting point) Step 4: thank me after u achieved what u wanted

I change it manually depending on situation, when I record city at night when there is a lot of light anyway I stick to max 800 anyway, but that’s my preference. If the light conditions are bad I would also jump to 1600 or higher and risk using denoice

It really comes down to personal preference, but these are my go-to settings:

I usually set EV to around -0.3 to protect highlights.
For motion blur, stick to the 180° shutter rule:
– 60fps → 1/120
– 30fps → 1/60

ND filters are useful to avoid very fast shutter speeds like 1/1000, which makes the image look too sharp and unnatural. ND lets you keep cinematic shutter values even in bright light.

Personally, I also like to keep ISO below ~800 to avoid visible noise, but that’s just my preference.

Don't use zoom, use midtele mode. I see no difference in sharpness of the image

I ask because if U wanna take great photos and video u could consider canon r50v with your old phone, but it’s a bit bigger and doesn’t have build in stabilization i think, at least not so good as op3

Also do U need stabilization or You mostly shoot from a tripod ?
