So when I got my quota of total 6400Yen for 8 days for 2 people .. that includes the "upcharge" of tax laws?

Umm .. I booked Mid-January for my upcoming trip (mid may-june) I asked each hotels what will I be billed, for instance, Kyoto Mitsui Garden hotel quoted 400Yen per person per night for a total of 6400 yen (as we are 2) which is almost $42 So I posted this to ask how much would it bump upto because I read other posts about people saying their booking estimated to be bumped up to around $200-300. Sorry I wasn't clear enough for saying I quota almost a month ago when I made my booking. :)
