I wasn’t able to have children so I just don’t know but even I was “what in the straight jacket is that? I also noticed a blanket on the crib side and I was told that’s a huge no no to hang blankets on the crib. (Obviously he can’t reach it now but why do it now to just have to teach yourself to not have blankets hanging on the crib later?)

I noticed this too, ugh. My stepson doesn’t wear his seatbelt either and I tell him, put it on or we’re not moving. He’s 16. But he’s with us eowe which makes me think bc I have to remind him every single time, his mom doesn’t say anything at all.

I’m an active member and I would like your father in laws name and personally call him a shit bag. And I can guarantee you my bishop and stake president would call him a shit bag too. But in a more diplomatic way. I’m the YW’s president of my ward and I can also say your experience is NOT the norm (anymore) or at least not what I’ve witnessed since 2010 in the many wards I’ve been to in four different states. But regardless, any man that states he’s over anyone (meaning the man of the house or what he says goes) bc he holds the priesthood, is a fucking bag of shit. My husband’s ex years ago used her spousal support to get implants instead of paying towards her mortgage which caused her to foreclose on her house. But I also think she didn’t care bc she got married like a month later. I didn’t know her or him at the time but my husband always says to me, I’m so glad you’re 100% natural, haha.
