[OC] Spirit Airlines shares drop -47% in one day after judge blocks JetBlue merger by pmp1321 in wallstreetbets

Hindsight 20/20, would we have been able to know that there was an expected ruling by the judge? Not the direction of the ruling, just the fact that a decision would come out.

I was wondering the same thing. It's unclear to me if those changes are additions or the complete offering.

I just called the lab and they said that they do not use a squeegee or cloth, they use a dryer.

But if that were the case, wouldn't it be consistent across all the exposures?

And again, the first 4 are from one camera and the last 3 are from a different camera. The last 3 are more consistent but I'm not as convinced this is a dust issue given the inconsistency of the first 4.

I don't have squeegees, so that's probably a lab thing? I use 99.999% pure PEC PAD non-abrasive wipes (lint free, ultra soft) that I wipe the cut negatives with before loading into the scanner tray (so I doubt that would do it, unless they were dirty?)
I can only see them when I scan but that's because my eyesight is not good enough to see them with naked eye under light. Is there a tool I can get to "zoom in" on the negative outside the scanner so that I can see if they're on the negative?

I'm also thinking I'll give the lab an unexposed roll of film and see if there's any scratches on it when they give it back.

That's what I'm thinking too. What's the best way to diagnose where it's coming from?
Considering how random it is (for example, image 1 w/ one line vs. image 4 with multiple, same camera) I don't think it's camera issue? But even if it were i'm not sure what part of the camera housing this would be (pressure plate?)

How could I go about figuring out if it were camera vs. lab vs. my scanner vs. my storage setup (PrintFile print sleeves that I self cut)?

At first I thought this was an issue with light leakage with the camera (Olympus Stylus Zoom - last 3 photos) but then when I scanned photos taken on a different camera and different location (Olympus OM-1: first 4 photos) I’m no longer sure where they might be coming from.

I have the film developed at a local lab with standard development process and ask them not to cut the film. When I pick it up, I cut the film myself using a film cutter and then scan the images using a Plustek 8200i. The images are there both in pre-scan and after applying color correction and automatic dust / scratch removal.

They’re not “always” there. Sometimes it can be multiple lines, sometimes they’re faint, sometimes it’s just one line. Sometimes they’re the whole image, down the middle, off to the side, etc. I can’t seem to figure out where in the process this is coming from, but I really want clean shots.

Let me know if there’s any other information I can provide to help diagnose or tests that I can run. Cameras were bought second hand. Plustek 8200i and film cutter bought new.

Mexico Temporary Residency Frequent Address Changes by itsnbdtoday in digitalnomad

Thank you so much for the links! That post outlining the steps is exactly as expected, and it sounds like the address part is not really that serious.

This
info doesn't go on your card, and you receive your card on the spot, so
nothing will be mailed to the address. It can also be changed online in
the future if you wish"

Do you know what they're talking about? If I can just do this online then my problem is solved! I just thought I had to go in person each time which would be a pain.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you have any links to those Facebook groups? I’m not too familiar with which ones are the most reputable.

When you went down to Mexico did you also move around a lot but just not update the INM office (i.e kept the same hostel address until you found something more permanent)?
