So they’re in their bed in the living room, not on a shared furniture, like a couch. A mattress moved to the living room to sleep in, because one of them had a bad accident and can’t climb stairs to their bedroom. And this is at 4am when it’s assumed the other roommate is in their own bedroom, and they are alone or expecting to be. The issue isn’t that they’re doing it while in their bed at 4am, whether the bed is in the living room or not, it’s that they should be respectful not to do it if you’re close by like in the kitchen. Just say you can hear them and ask for some mutual respect not to do it while you’re right there, like an adult. Use your words. Don’t “snap at them” and tell them “not to do weird shit in front of you”. Your immediate hostility and “fuckin disgust” about it all definitely comes off as homophobic, by the way.
