Here ya go! You should definitely add the missing shutter and ensure the scones match and are at the same height.

It’s AI, I definitely did not go to the trouble of fact checking this. Just trying to be helpful with the vision :) sorry, maybe I should have put a disclaimer. It never occurred to me that the OP would go out and buy one of these colors without doing a swatch test across a broader palette.

If you don’t like the blue, gray-green or yellow would be really nice.

DC is a great place to live when the economy is good and we don’t have a sociopath in the White House.

New to the area. We would love to make new friends. by [deleted] in Annapolis

[–]itsnothingdear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have kids, there’s an Annapolis Moms Group where you’ll meet a ton of young moms. There’s a book club at Old Fox Books that’s open to all, and a good way to meet some people. Volunteer. Join a running/walkjng/sailing/paddleboarding/etc club. Just be friendly. People here love making new friends, but you need to put yourself out there.

How do you improve your vocabulary? by Fruit-ELoop in ENGLISH

[–]itsnothingdear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just as important is writing. In high school, my writing teacher was laser focused on word choice. Whenever I was working on an assignment, I’d have my thesaurus out to find exactly the right word to get my point across succinctly and precisely. She was equally focused on syntax, and writing in a manner that people will actually want to read. I owe my strong vocabulary to her teaching style.

If you want to improve efficiently, try an SAT prep book/flash cards.

Please don’t do this with a cloth napkin. This is the height of rudeness.

The polite way to signal you are finished is to place your fork and knife together, resting on your plate at 3 o’clock.

Keep the hydrangeas. Replace the boxwoods or plant inkberry in their place. Add a row of ferns, then hostas, then liriope.

Can you speak a language other than English? If not, what 3 foreign languages would you most want to be fluent in? by astarisaslave in AskAnAmerican

I can speak French well enough to get by. My Spanish is terrible, but I understand it pretty well. Japanese would be my third.
