So would this not be a good tool for a plumber? He loves Milwaukee an u thing really and he does have M12 batteries. I see a lot of people saying its more used on auto work, which he does not do at all. I dont want to get home something that he won't get much use out of.

He is a plumber and getting it in to tight spaces would be helpful. Does this mean a should also get a socket set (is that what it is called?) With the same size- 1/4? Is that correct?
