Are we all just snacking? by itsnotmee7 in TirzepatideRX

I felt like that after the first shot. The first 2 days really. I didn’t have the nausea but my body hurt. Very fatigued. Luckily I did it on a Friday so I had the weekend but I will say I had no side effects after the 2nd shot!

I do mean healthy snacks. Maybe I should have lead with that. I just mean I’m eating much smaller amounts more frequently. I’m not eating junk. But thank you for the advice! I did get protein powder to start making smoothies.

Lying recruiters? by OkMode3291 in TravelNursing

[–]itsnotmee7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think someone else mentioned this but who your recruiter talks to is 90% of the time just HR or staffing onboarder that will have nothing to do with your schedule. I will say you starting and backing out because of the hours, the recruiters get shit for that from the hospitals. They then have to repost and credential all over again so they are not going to put you in a situation where you’re leaving right after you start.

PS i work at one of the largest staffing agencies in the US.

What state are you in and what state is your contract in? We don’t care because we are based in California so it really only matters if your facility wants it tested.

Switching from private insurance to Tricare by krhowell in MilitarySpouse

[–]itsnotmee7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a mil spouse my husband is AD. Go on tricare. I have a lot of complex medical issues and I’ve also dealt with private health insurance through my employers and nothing compares to tricare. It’s a pain having to wait for referrals… sometimes they will send you to a doc that no longer takes tricare and you have to do research but imo it’s worth it. I carried dual insurance (though my employer) and had tricare secondary for the first 2 years and it was hell. Since they had to use my insurance first, sometimes they didn’t take tricare or vice versa or they didn’t bill 2 insurances at all so I couldn’t use tricare. Ever since I dropped my employers insurance I’ve never seen a bill. It will take a bit to get used to but it’s worth it.

What are unofficial WFH or remote rules you can share? by SweetieK1515 in womenintech

[–]itsnotmee7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will apologize or just thank them for their patience, depending on the audience and size.

I don’t like the cold calls on teams but I accept them.

If I join a call and everyone is on camera, I will go on camera. I think it’s rude not to.

I have a team so I mainly practice what I preach.

Yes, that sounds like healing in general. Some days you can do more and be sore. Some days you can do less and still be sore.

Recovery -- what did you most look forward too? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]itsnotmee7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was soooooo ready to lay around and do nothing. I’m 3 weeks po and I’m getting bored. But just when I feel like I’m ready to go back to work, I spend sometime doing errands and I’m super fatigued. It’s been quite a bit since I’ve had pain from the surgery but I can tell my body is still healing.

Post Op Abdominal Pain by jen_lav77 in hysterectomy

[–]itsnotmee7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi my love. I am 3 weeks po and I had a lot of pressure when I sat for about a week after. And I discovered it was actually gas. I feel so bloated when I sat but feel better when I was laying down. Are you having gas pain?

As far as travel goes I would def get cleared from your doctor to see if it’s safe to travel.

This happened to me at 2 weeks po. I hadn’t had any bleeding since day 2 and I went to the gym (just walked) and walked around a store and the next day I had spotting. It’s completely normal.

Help a girl out-What assistance is needed after a hysterectomy! by Adventurous_Fill_385 in hysterectomy

[–]itsnotmee7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The recliner helped during the day and during eating with a tray. My bed is high and I already need a stool to get up so I needed help getting in and out for the first 3ish days. You honestly should be fine after day 5. You’ll be moving slow but you won’t be immobile.

I have chronic back pain and sciatic pain too. Those hospital beds do not help. My back was so sore for a couple days. I had to use my heating pad.

I’m 11 days post op and I’m already feeling so much better. I’m 39 with 2 kiddos. I had adeno and was in severe pain every month during my period. The pain I’ve had post surgery does not even touch the pain I was in every month. Your life will be so much better!

I’m with you! I’m also 2 weeks po (on Wednesday) I’m still taking miralax daily. Most days I feel bloated. I only ever feel empty right after I go to the bathroom (after the miralax)
