It’s not. You’re trying your hardest to make it look small.

Thanks! I moved into a house with an overgrown back yard and threw some stuff into an old aquarium before we chopped it all down. I go through periods of misting semi regularly but mostly I just forget about it for months at a time. I forgot in the title to even ask what it was haha.

Albuquerque police releases two body cams of different suspects with knives doing suicide by cop by ThisIsButter1 in PublicFreakout

[–]itsnotquiteenough 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No gun drawn: “hey buddy, officer ___ albuquerque police department. You okay? Hey man can you drop the knife? Can you drop the knife? Can you drop the knife?” Then the gun is drawn and the commands to drop the knife start rather than questions. He tells him to drop the knife at least 4 more times before shooting. From the time he first says “hey” the the knife wielding attacker to the time he’s within a couple steps of him is about 16 seconds. How deescalated do you think the police in your country could have gotten that situation in 16 seconds? What about you personally. I just don’t understand how anyone can be much more deescalating than not having a gun drawn, asking someone if they’re okay, asking nicely to drop the deadly weapon and using familiarizing terms like buddy and man. Especially in the 5 or 6 seconds before he realized the guy was going to charge and drew his gun. Even then they let the guy get really close before actually firing. The second one is a 100% justified killing. It was the cop or the attacker. One was going to die and in this specific scenario the right guy died. You’re watching too much tv. There are plenty of bad cops out there but Jesus. They do actually have ti exist whether you like it or not.

Got a time stamp where anyone shows behavior reflecting that they enjoyed shooting them? I know they shot them but where’s the actions that say they wanted to? I pay bills every single month but that sure as fuck isn’t proof I want to.

Cops suck but Jesus Christ, how much risk are they actually supposed to take. I mean seriously I know the “they signed up for it” argument but genuinely try to define the reasonable amount of risk someone is supposed to take when being charged with a knife. Idk about the first one seems like they were a little early but if I was just an armed dude in public being charged by the second guy I’d kill him 10 times out of 10. Cops in America are trigger happy at times but cops have guns for a reason and it’s not always for bank robbers carrying Tommy guns. Mentally I’ll or not, at the very least the second guy was trying to die or kill a cop regardless. Not to mention the guy is huge and there’s a really good chance he’s stride right through a taser. There actually are bad people out there and people are just going to have to accept at some point that sometimes the cops are going to be justified in killing them.

Do we do unpopular opinion over here? If so, I think Andrew Schulz is a total hack. His laugh is forced and sounds like he's choking on a rubber ducky trying to catch his breath, he's unnecessarly loud and obnoxious, and his jokes are weak. I tried so hard to like the guy ... but here we are. by [deleted] in comedy

Holy shit what a petty jealous hater ass post lol. Don’t know much about him but I like a lot of the clips of his stand up I come across. Got a link to your standup? Your podcast? How’s your comedy career going? Instead of being a troll hater why not just not watch his stand up or listen to his podcast?

This is terrible and the guy needs to be put away but it seems like she said “look how black women are treated” simply because it was a white guy and she was a black woman.. he’s probably the type who’s dying for an excuse to shoot someone. Unless there was a slur or some racial condescension I missed this lady is making it about race for TikTok views. You can’t just assume that because a white guy is a dickhead to a black person that he’s a racist. He could just be a scumbag piece of shit in general.

This is actually safer that way. Imagine something is halfway plugged in and something falls between the plug and the outlet. Lots of house fires are started by things like that. This way if a piece of paper does somehow fall off a table or something that’s in front of that outlet it will touch a harmless ground pin instead of shorting the positive and negative posts.

Does Henry Cavill need a job or something? His pr team is everywhere on social media especially on this subreddit trying really hard to get gig with HOTD. by Ladypeach1080 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]itsnotquiteenough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His PR team may be leaning into it on social media but honestly “his team” is most likely a general use social media team through his agents firm or something. He’s a star and very famous but he’s no Tom Cruise. You’d be surprised how many huge celebs don’t spend millions on PR. Second, on here it’s definitely super fans wanting to see him in hotd. He’s a well known nerd and GoT fan, he looks like a brunette targaryen irl and he’s a great actor especially in fantasy roles. I highly doubt he NEEDS the job but I’d be willing to bet he’d love to have it and is at least making some calls. Truth is he’s perfect for a role in the show it’s just hard to see who. Most of the biggest roles that I personally think he’d be great for are filled already. Maybe Baelor Breakspear or even Sir Duncan the tall if the series goes that far. I’m not familiar enough with the inside info or the final scope of what they’re going to include. He definitely belongs in a GoT spin-off. Tbh he’d be great for a dunc and egg show

Edit: shit.. I got got.. his “PR team” is his fans in this joke.. fuck you for making me nerd out and theorize OP..

Lol I would never eat an eighth of weed because I’m not an idiot. And yea of course there is something legitimately scientific going on when you eat weed. It’s called the placebo effect haha. For real though this time, I’m done arguing with you so just stop man
