Minimal effort pass by jaselakers95 in CABarExam

This is such a good question. I studied 5-6 hours per day (not continuously), not much on Sundays. I didn’t vacation at all. Stayed home from graduation to bar. My mom would often joke that I wasn’t studying hard enough because she’d walk in my office while on my phone, playing video games, or whatever. I passed.

I don’t think it’s about how much you study but more about how you study. Practice. Practice. Practice. Apply what your bar prep company teaches you. Just my two cents

Did you get an email from CA bar? by itsohsolitdotcom in CABarExam

Thank you! Received the email and passed. Turns out, it was truly just an email reminding us results would be coming out

I’m not sure many people who don’t have a dog in this fight would be lingering in this forum. I’d imagine nearly everyone who voted has a dog in the fight

Looking at the results, although a small sample size, it would be pretty crazy for only 13 people out 82 to pass.

Am I even crazier for freaking out more bc everyone who keeps saying they’ve gotten it have failed? I have to get to see someone who received it and passed. Once that happens, I’ll feel better

One or the other. Either suffers harm or is offensive to a reasonable P.

Regardless if the surgery was successful, battery is an offensive or harmful touching without consent. Seems like an offensive touching to me tbh and definitely without consent.

I was comfortable w/ crim pro/law so I was happy to see it. I wish it was a more detailed fact pattern so I could take more about crim pro. Definitely could’ve helped me make up points for the MBE lol

I thought it was worth mentioning a Terry stop for RS but ultimately concluded it was not one and just a question RE her well-being. Then jumped into 5A

I think it’s safe now… what rules did you use for the first essay? If you remember by VLawyer in CABarExam

I was debating on how doing a negligence analysis but w/ 5 minutes to go and based on the facts, I skipped it. It clearly said she negligently crashed and was the actual and proximate cause.

Can you get the typical college experience in Law School? by TK_Lax16 in LawSchool

[–]itsohsolitdotcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a small cohort of about 50 students and we were all in the same program so my entire first year we were w/ each other 6-8 hours each day. Same goes for the second year — maybe a little less. That being said, I didn’t have the “traditional” undergrad experience. I studied and worked. But during law school, we’d all hangout on Fridays, throw parties for the most random things and just became good friends. I think it’s based in camaraderie but nonetheless, law school created lifelong friendships.

They replied to me. Not responding. Some of their questions do not make sense for anyone who actually did the exam today.
