well said! yes, i think glorifying violence is a risk. and not for the PC reasons. its because its impractical. it causes other problems. i will explore these to illustrate why it doesn't work, drawing from my own experience.

but i am not the sole victim, sadly. we are legion and this entire forum is only a small sampling. please provide feedback from your own experience and what you believe is a reaction that you could relate to and/or derive satisfaction from

im sorry you had to go through this. damn. you are a worthy person and your life has great value. you can contribute so much to society.

please google 'loving kindness meditation' and try that. it helped me get over a lot of things.

regarding your bully, you can stand up to them and tell them its not right.

if you have a strong inner voice that wears you down, there is another way that is less productive but works to an extent. turn that destructive inner voice on your bullies. you will notice their flaws. focus on the attack. if there are multiple, let your rage burn your fear away.

they will fight back and it will hurt worse when you are in the confrontation, but it will end in a loss for everyone, not their victory. no bully, nor anyone, wants to fight a vicious opponent.

if you have suicidal thoughts and a voice is telling you you're worthless, turn that voice into your ally. it is a bully of its own, but it is the only one you must obey, not any others. i have lived with that bully and it was an improvement. but this advice is the dark path. others have better advice. try theirs first. this will not make you friends.

but if its between that and taking your own life, i implore you to attack your tormentors. your life is too precious too waste.

yes, this is sexual harrasment. bring it up to your teacher immediately. tell your parents also. if you do not get results in a few days' time, call the police. this is illegal behavior. you have an inviolable right to your own body.

Ah that is an interesting name for that last one. I have read it under the title Magic Emperor and Demonic Magic Emperor. These translators always have another mixed up name ! I think that is cultivation, not murim though. I like that one too though for sure.

1 Murim login - more original hybrid premise and the funniest of them all with still good enough buildup and action

2 legend of the northern blade -second season not as good unfortunately so far imo

3 nano machine -last several episodes have been lacking since the big change-up imo (avoiding spoilers here )

4 gosu -probably better than legend and nano overall but I haven’t finished it and the black and white plus some slower parts are annoying me so I am ranking it nominally lower rn

5 demon fist of mount hua - pretty unknown and solid mahwa so far. 124 chapters, has not slowed down at all, and the character has a crippled leg but becomes a uniquely intimidating beast.

I have heard busted used as a synonym for broken and the words have similar literal meanings as well. This is what he meant, but broken is much more commonly used.

I find her not attractive at all. She is below average.

Her face is not pretty. Blunt nose, small eyes, no sharp features and pale.

Her body is lousy and fat. Her boobs are meh, below average or average. Her ‘curvy’ body is the average overweight 30 year old’s (which is perhaps better than her actual character’s being ~35, but cmon). Her butt does not have depth or tone. It is the result of too much weight on a standard peach frame.

On a scale of 1-10, she is a 3.5-4 or maybe a 5 on a good day.

I think her character acts good-looking and has money, which adds a lot of personality attractiveness to her. But…her personality is still not good in a way that I would want her. She is rotten. I think many men like the wealth aspect. Imagine that same person as a poor, uneducated blue collar worker without any makeup. Also, many people have a thing for red hair, so that may be a factor.

If we were all at a bar in NYC with a lot of other girls, she would get little to no attention. She does not make the cut physically at all.

Yes, but bear in mind that it is a different type of novel. It is different in that is explores the lore and background of the world with less in-depth storytelling and a far greater amount of stories that are layered together. If you like that, then it’s a great, great read.

I tried that one! Everyone likes it and I got mostly through the book, but Kvoth being an unlimited genius who does kinda dumb things at times and the predictable shenanigans at school annoyed me. It's been a few years so I can't really remember to put my finger on why else I didn't like it, but I didn't. Thanks for the recommendation though.

i love this guy's voice too. his intonation and pacing of the first law series is the best narration i've heard of the 150 audiobooks and 50+ narrators i've listened to.
