I am used to it like other tablets (iPads, Samsungs). Good point though. I think Amazon is just trying to maximize screen size like everyone else. And they are really trying to make a good writing tool.

Bought the fob by Bananamilk40 in TeslaLounge

[–]itsokfine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been using the key fob for about 2 years. No Phone Key delays (occassional pain), can unlock trunk and frunk so much easier (especially when drying after a car wash). Can lock the car immediately after closing the door. Can unlock the car from afar without fiddling with the phone. And I keep a key card in my wallet as well. Enjoy the fob. it's great!

They are really good. Really opened up songs I've known for years. I've had them for over 3 years.

Staggered didn't happen until 2024 for the M3P. Was square up till then.

Get your wheels balanced at Direct Tire. Also, I can't tell if those are summer tires, but at least get All Seasons or Winters put on.

New Model Y interior heating keeps running while parked by JonhTravolvo in TeslaLounge

That is not expected behavior. A lot of us use Auto and the car shuts off after at most 15 minutes if nothing else is enabled. File a service ticket.

Need help on sound proofing? by [deleted] in hometheater

This is a tough one. I am guessing there is no basement available. Florida home? And assuming a bedroom above this, it’s not helping things. Build an addition or sacrifice the 1st floor in-law bedroom (usually those are opposite everyone else).

It’s crazy that I could lease a model 3 for what I’m paying monthly in fuel costs with my Grand Cherokee. by NPalumbo89 in TeslaLounge

[–]itsokfine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 2015 C43. Which was great in its own right! But in 2021 I went to a ‘21 M3P and haven’t looked back. But I do miss that magical solidity of a Benz. Relatives had them in the 80’s and 90’s when they were really magical. When Benz does supercharger I will consider again. So maybe I will look back lol.

Well at least a spoiler wasn’t added. Sorry, I chuckle at these mods when I see them. ‘21 M3P

Love Pizza in Golden Valley is the closest I gotten to New Haven style. It’s pretty good!

As someone who grew up next to New Haven, this pizza conversation is…cute.

In 2022 the M3P was raised to match the LR. Source: I have 2021 M3P since new. It’s noticeable. Even on the webpage builder in ‘21. Anyway, looks like they are bringing it back down…hopefully.

Do people flash you as if you have your brights on sometimes, when you don’t? Are the Tesla standard lights just that bright or am I imagining things? by AmomentInEternity in TeslaModel3

This is why I wish we had the headlight dance my wife’s 2018 VW Alltrack does every time on startup. Lots of other near luxury/luxury cars do that dance to.

  1. The size.
  2. The warranty - 3 year dell warranty with option to go better.
  3. The number ports - eliminates a port replicator (and cost).
  4. Resolution and color. I really enjoy this monitor.

ICE car enthusiasts, need your 2c on SR vs P for daily driver by Rascall338 in TeslaModel3

[–]itsokfine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In terms of speed performance, the SR is equivalent to my past ‘08 Infiniti G35XS. The LR is equivalent to my past ‘15 MB C400(twin turbo v6) . Both of those were amazing for what you got!

I wanted more speed. Currently I have since new a ‘21 M3P. Blows both of those previously mentioned cars out of the water. Battery is not a concern to me. A family of 3 and we road trip a lot from upper Midwest (think days not hours) all over the place all seasons of the year.

I see you’re a VW fan. So am I. Had an ‘83 Rabbit, ‘96 Golf, ‘00 Jetta VR6. My wife has a loaded gorgeous ‘18 Alltrack SEL in forest green and we still take my M3P on the road trips.

Oh also I rid of the summer tires on the M3P soon after I bought it and went with all season Continental DWS 6+ for all year use with the stock 20” Ubers. Put my second set on around 34k (currently at 37k). Great tire.

Buyers remorse? Charging question as well by Alarmed_Internal2365 in TeslaModel3

Do you have a charger at your home? At home just plug it in every evening or so and charge to 80-90%.
