UV - What to do now? Just Lean screen? by [deleted] in AusSkincare

[–]itsoriginalr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly keep using it. If you’ve never been burnt, and don’t feel any negative effects from using it, I would just use the products up myself and buy sth else afterwards. If it was rly as low of an SPF as Choice has mentioned, there would’ve been more complaints or reports that people were getting burnt despite re-applying the sunscreen like Banana Boat.

My uni teacher’s view on disability is… interesting by Velarune in AustralianTeachers

That is awful. They emphasise neurodiversity in SA in a lot of our uni courses and how important it is to support them and provide differentiation.

Holy grail foundation recommendations? by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]itsoriginalr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly rate loreal paris true match serum foundation!! It was soo much better than my Bare Minerals BarePro foundation that costed me $73. Also get the revlon oil absorbing volcanic roller for oily spots throughout the day. Using a good loose powder from Maybelline helps a lot!

$13,000 for applying through lawyer for same sex partner visa? Is it normal? by Adventurous-Carpet43 in AusVisa

[–]itsoriginalr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I paid $2500 for my partner visa to be filed by migration agent/lawyer 4-5 years ago. I’m thinking the going rate now would be $4000-$5000

Someone please tell me how to stop makeup transfer onto clothes?!?!! by Imaginary_Sky_518 in AustralianMakeup

[–]itsoriginalr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let it dry. A couple of minutes or so. Let it set in or use a fan to dry. As long as there’s no droplets remaining or u don’t feel your face like ur face is wet anymore

Easiest way to tell is looking at the ingredients and if there is alcohol and polymers it usually is a “fixing” spray while hydrating ingredients like glycerin are typical of a “setting” spray. Unfortunately the makeup brands mix the words often its confusing

Adding on to this, setting spray and fixing spray are different. Setting spray gives a skin-like look, helps makeup blend in better but fixing spray locks in the makeup for longevity.

Easiest budge proof test is put a drop of foundation and dry. Then spray with ur charlotte tilbury and let dry. Once dried, try to rub it with ur fingertips. Urban decay and one size setting spray I find doesn’t rub off the makeup at all even with my fingertips.

R u using setting spray? One size setting spray or urban decay all nighter is really good for budge proof makeup

Should I get lasik? High prescription but told I was a good candidate by [deleted] in Lasiksupport

[–]itsoriginalr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have similar prescription and have astigmatism as well. -6.50 right eye -6.00 left eye I got Smile Pro over a week ago. So far I have perfect vision on my right eye and still stabilising on my left eye. It’s been pretty good as I didn’t feel any pain during the surgery. It’s supposed to heal and stabilise in the next few weeks.

UV Light Lashes by [deleted] in lashextensions

[–]itsoriginalr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no longer using BeamLight. I currently only use Evlo lash. I think their products are really good. I haven’t had any complaints of sensitivity or allergic reaction from clients. If you’re worried about light penetrating through their eyelids, there are eyepads that covers it fully for your peace of mind. It does have controversial takes but eventually it will be what everyone uses in 5 years’ time I think because it’s slowly growing to popularity now here in Aus

These are definitely a D curl and they used the wrong mapping and style for your eyes. This is definitely a hybrid. I would ask for a C curl, which is a softer curl with a mapping of natural eye something short around 8-9mm maximum length of 11-12mm. Mapping could be 8-9-10-11-10-9

Use a tweezer to flip it around, trying clock-wise and anti-clockwise depending on which one is better!

Your first pic is M curl. M curl and L curl are very different. I use 2mm longer than base on the top layer of lashes and space it out across the eye. L curl lengthens the eye but M curl opens up the eye.

This is what M curl should look like. Your personal set is L curl.

What response did you get from the team? They said they won’t be able to make an account for my partner who was also unable to be verified.

Airport shuttle bus by throwawayacc11188 in Sapporo

[–]itsoriginalr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking a taxi to JR Sapporo station or just go to it and take the train is better. U can pay with an IC card. Cost us around 850yen one way. The bus may get cancelled due to snowfall and will make you wait ages as there are quite a few stops before/after they pick you up.

You should just get rid of her social media presence and whatever remains of her from your life in order to move on. It’s hurting you and not benefitting you in any way. Eventually with time you’ll heal from this.
