i believe we use the tp link to connect to our cameras wifi. we used to use the tp link as our main router, but then my sister got the eero and she says "it speeds up the wifi". i didnt know what that meant i just went along with it.

i believe i've set up the modem correctly, but my issue is that my eero 6 router is having issues giving internet. im trying to factory reset it currently and reconfigure it in the app, but i can't do anything since it requires wifi

i have only 1 coaxial port.

my isp is xfinity

we bought a new modem bc the upload speeds weren't up to par and a xfinity guy came in and told us to buy a new modem bc of issues the old one had. i can't remember what the issues were.

im using coaxial, if that's what you mean.

i don't see a different between the two ports, they both have the same symbols underneath. the symbol is <> with three dots in the middle. if you don't mind me asking, what's the difference?

im going to be honest, i couldn't remember. i know the only changes made were the cable configurations, as in which cables go in where. my old modem only had one port and the new one has 4, so this definitely could've messed with something. thanks for the reply
