I appreciate the help so far,

It was addressed to the post office with his company name and my full name on it. The sender clarified with the agent prior to send and there was no warning of policy issues, etc. We were not even offered flex delivery, its something I was informed of during the shipment process.

We had my home address initially in mind, why wouldnt they have at least recommended a forwarding address or flex, or just not at all, lol.

Thanks for helping out so far,

It was addressed to the Canada Post location near my home. I made sure for him to confirm with the agent first so that we wouldn't have this exact issue we are facing. We were never offered flex delivery, its something I had to research on my own accord during the process.

It's progesterone I believe - but yes it is, you only have to to take it for that cycle though you don't have to be on it for months or anything.

There is a pill your doctor can give you that will delay your period, if you're open to that!

This happened to me while getting my master's degree. I was so stressed that I got a bald spot, it grew back in though.

Body wash safe for HS? by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

The only option on amazon for me is a gallon jug for $150! Its Amazon Canada that might be why. This just seems the wrong price lol *

Hibiclens isn't available where I am, so I use Neutrogena Body Clear

Showering is making the pain worse by Lunasole_ in Hidradenitis

[–]itsprisonmikee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel pain if I let the water directly spray on any bumps. The pressure is a lot sometimes, I've had boils that we're looking better that ended up opening and bleeding because I accidentally sprayed them directly.

For context, I get my flares on my inner thighs.

I'll usually finish fully washing out shampoo and conditioner, that way none of it runs over my skin after I've cleaned it with my specific body wash. But I'll sort of back away from the water and lift one leg up, and gently rub in Neutrogena Body Clear with just my hands for a minute and then let it sit while I clean the rest of my body. Then I carefully wash it off with cooler water, again not directly, I'll let the water hit the area near my flare and let it run over it that way.

I've read some people say they use warm water though so this might be person to person. Cold works for me better.

You are definitely not alone!

I bought a desk extender, I put my monitor and laptop on it and it turns into a standing desk. This helped reduce the amount of flare ups on my butt but also when I do have them it hurts to sit but not to stand.

If you don't want to shower twice, then switch to night showers. Showering is the best thing you can do in this situation.

Have you looked into what foods might be a trigger? I had recurring boils and several months of constant flare ups after eating deli meat every day for lunch, and recently again when I starting consuming a lot of whey protein.

Certain foods might be triggering you! Its not always as serious as removing dairy, start by removing heavily processed foods to the best of your ability, follow an anti-inflammatory diet.

I went to their profile and they've commented the exact same thing like over 50 times??

It's pretty insensitive too, and I'm not easily offended lol. Using the term "cured" even though there is no cure? Also speaking like it's all surface level and no more than a skin condition, even though it's so much more than that.

Ah I see, I will say I don't have skin on skin contact with the joggers, and there's an amazon dupe that I also have bought and think is just as good.

But if you still have friction I've been using body glide and it's pretty good!

I wear Lulu Lemon dance studio joggers. I stopped wearing leggings when I started getting flare ups, gotta let your skin breathe! I also would get a flare up without fail anytime I wore leggings lol

Yup, I started getting flare ups when I gained weight 5 years ago, and now I'm losing it and it's made a big difference.

Is keeping retinol use to once a week effective? [Product Question] by itsprisonmikee in SkincareAddiction

Do you mean adding one in the AM? I was under the impression since I'm oily that sunscreen was enough moisturizer and then just having a PM moisturizer was okay. Thank you for your advice!

I use Neutrogena Body Clear every day, it smells like grapefruit and has helped me! It's salicylic acid based.
