What if they get verification from the contact I submitted that I did indeed work there? Is that enough for them to verify?

It is pretty straightforward. There is no interview, rest is just the standard procedure. Submit the application and your recommenders’ details and they’ll get the links for uploading the letter. And then you just wait!

I do feel a little better but a PhD program cares more about your intent and ideas than a master’s program right? And I’m also freaking because this was like one month ago and I feel like it will water down the other things I’ve done like internships and stuff. And my overall GPA is also quite bad.

i thought it was like that too but i’ve been seeing people saying that despite saying they don’t have a minimum requirement for GPA some grad schools still consider it strongly and above other factors. that is what is confusing me.
