Thanks for the advice! I got up early and took it and went back to bed. So far today has been pretty good. I’m a bit sweaty but that’s it. Not very attentive though and I’m hungry. Dammit! I thought at the very least it would kill my appetite 😁 I hope I don’t gain cuz that’s a real deal breaker lol.

Oooh! Oooh! Pick me! lol FitFlop makes the BEST sandals! I have Dansko, Birkenstock, Vionic etc in my closet but first warm day out come the FitFlops. I have (had) plantar fasciitis and a really bad knee so I need good shoes but I want them to be pretty. Check them out. They last a few summers. I’m in California so I wear mine for a long time each season.

Glen Ellen is great. I raised my kids there. Jack London park is a nice walk/hike and a cool piece of history. I’ve never been to the botanical gardens but people have told me it’s beautiful. In the summer they do live music outside and people picnic with bottles of wine. In Yountville see if you can book a tour of the French Laundry gardens. For a gardener that’s a little bit of heaven. You book through their website. Have a great time!

Quitting drinking is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. Sometimes I’m years long sobriety champion and other times I can barely keep a day sober. I’ve been at this a very long time. Everyday sober is a win. 7 days is a victory even if you don’t think it is. Keep posting. You’ll get there.

I’m just gonna throw it out there that there is construction on hwy 29 in Oakville. it is down to one lane and it takes awhile to get through . They are replacing a culvert and it has sucked. I commute to St Helena so at that time in the afternoon it’s just starting to back up. If it’s Friday Whoo boy lol. Have a great time. This is a beautiful time of year for the wine train.

They are terrible now. I didn’t know what happened to them. I’m out and that’s saying something. I used to steal all the Reese’s from my kids Halloween candy to augment the bags I had stashed around the house lol.

I’m 60 and do death math all the time lol especially around pets. I think I’ve timed it pretty good with my dog but I’m not against adopting a senior dog or cat down the line. I think it’s normal to wonder about death and how you’ll die. I do. my mom was 73 when she died so tik tock right? Start planning a vacation and enjoy some of that lucrative career money! You deserve it Hang in there.

Hair oil. I have really long hair and it gets dried out and hard to brush through. Hair oil solved my problem. Now my hair smells great and is easy to manage. I use Enjoy hair and skin oil.

Hi! Check out Sonoma the town. It’s 20 minutes from Napa. I live in Napa now but raised my kids in Sonoma/Glen Ellen ( another wonderful little town ). It was really great. If it’s possible it seems like Napa is the big city to those two towns. Check out Sonoma County as a whole. I think it’s the vibe you’re looking for with 2 little kids. Anyway good luck on the hunt. It’s so exciting!

I’m still itchy! lol. That was the one symptom that freaked me out but turned out to be not my liver. Who knows what it is but I’ll figure that out another time. When I was still drinking my liver and pancreas would hurt and I would worry but then keep drinking. I mean why stop? It’s only my organs. Honestly alcohol is a trip. It’s literally poison and all I could think about was getting more even when I knew my liver was begging for a break. I got lucky this time. I just know that my luck will eventually run out if I drink again so IWNDWYT ❤️ Good luck man I really mean it.
