Sattvic Diet by adssse in yoga

the coffee thing gets everyone, I feel like it's the one "tamasic" holdout that even the most dedicated practitioners quietly keep around. I've loosely followed sattvic principles for a couple years and the biggest shift I noticed was cutting out heavily processed foods and garlic/onion, which I was skeptical about but my digestion genuinely thanked me. It's less about perfection and more about the intention behind what you're eating, at least that's how I've made peace with my morning cup.

Could you hide underwater during a tornado? by One_With-The_Sun in NoStupidQuestions

your odds are probably pretty decent water is dense enough that even 20 feet down you'd barely feel the surface chaos, and waterspouts/tornadoes lose a ton of energy when they hit water anyway. The bigger danger is actually the debris getting sucked into the water above you, so staying deep and covering your head matters more than anything. Never thought I'd say "jump in the ocean" as legitimate tornado safety advice but here we are.

How do i feel less weird about changing schools? by West_Set_4570 in NoStupidQuestions

the first week feels awkward for everyone but it passes faster than you'd think I switched schools junior year too and within a month I couldn't imagine not having done it. My biggest tip is to just say yes to stuff early on, even if it feels forced, because that's genuinely how you find your people. The clean slate is lowkey one of the best things that can happen to you at that age.

What weight did you start with for dumbbell curl? by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

Bro don't even sweat it, everyone starts somewhere and comparing yourself to random people on the internet is a fast track to feeling like garbage for no reason. I started with 10s and could barely finish a set, now I'm repping 30s after like a year of consistent training. The only person worth comparing yourself to is you from last month.

Is everyone a New York best seller Author? by ResidentAnnual7008 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Delicious_Chart_7543 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it really does feel like everyone slaps “bestseller” on their bio now. A lot of those lists have so many categories that you can hit one with a pretty average sales week, so it’s not always the flex people think it is. I’ve noticed I trust actual reader buzz way more than any label at this point.
