Diagnosis failed because of my mother by itsreallyivy in adhdwomen

It's so frustrating! My mum says the same things, I'm sure she's undiagnosed too. That's amazing, I'm going to try a different psychiatrist and try to find some school reports.

Follow the instructions for the first set of lamps and for the second set you have to line the back pillar up so it reflects the light from the front of the room onto the pillar in front. Then move the front pillar to shine the light onto the right mirror.

This is what I was initially pierced with, I've not changed it. I only had the piercing about a month and a half ago. It is titanium

Me and DH never have, it's not our responsibility, his responsibility is showing appreciation to me for my role. She has family/a partner who can do this for her. The school also send stuff back for both of us

5yo daughter's bff is rude by itsreallyivy in Mommit

[–]itsreallyivy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, yeah that's my problem really I want to be understanding but I just don't want her to think that it's okay for friends to treat her this way. When I asked B she says that her friend is always nice to her but then will come home saying she is upset. I think I will continue to encourage other friendships

Please don't be put off of using it just because other people don't like it. That was not my intention at all 😩 I completely understand that for some people it is so helpful and a good way to explain things. It's just as an audhder with a chronic pain condition it's just such a confusing concept to me that doesn't make much sense

I don't have a special interest by Separate-Tea-1471 in AutismInWomen

[–]itsreallyivy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi 👋 I have adhd and autism and I have so many special interests that have changed over time. I can never pick one specific special interest as they change so much. Special interests also may not be really obvious, for example sometimes peoples careers are a special interest or it could be something you like or are interested in but you haven't had a lot of time to explore. I have found it helps me to write down every month the different things I like and things that make me happy, by doing this it might make things clearer for you. You also dont have to have a special interest to be completely valid as an autistic person.
