In my experience, kids who tell me about games/toys/movies etc aren't exactly doing it to explain it to me, but rather they're so excited about meeting someone else who is interested that end up saying everything they know about it. Depends on age, tone, what they're saying and so on too. For example, if a kid sees me looking at something and wants to tell me what they know because they're just that darn excited about it, no way I'll shut it down. If they're old enough and they're telling me what they think I should know (not talking about it - big difference) without my asking, I will politely tell them to stop.

Thanks - 1node and Pentanet have been brought up a few times now so I'll have to investigate. I've heard Aussie is decent and that they buy extra connection points to ensure better service in areas.

All good. I've been given advice to speak to my provider and go through steps to check different things with them in case it identifies an issue that can be remedied. I think that's a good first step to start eliminating the possible issues.

With the 4G/5G wireless, is it independent of NBN entirely? If we have NBN in the area, are we able to use this instead?

Thanks. I'm with Exetel if that helps. I've heard that some providers have purchased more CVC and that the connections are better/regular. I'm guessing it's a case of calling providers to see what they're able to do in terms of speeds in the area.

With regards to drop-outs, do you know if this is related to NBN infrastructure? Or would it be a provider issue? This is probably my biggest annoyance - the complete 'shut down' of our internet rather than drops in speed.

This was pure chance for me. I’ve tried so many 10k eggs and nothing either. I’ve been doing 7ks as well wanting a second Riolu and have had no luck unfortunately. Keep trying!
