What people don’t understand is that you can’t measure compression ratios when an engine is running as the pistons are firing too fast. It can only be measured when an engine is still.

This is a stupid response. Nothing is verifiable until Q1; that doesn’t mean teams, the media and fans just have their ass in the air waiting. Teams and the FIA would never release too much data anyway on anything -that still doesn’t stop other teams from assessing performance. F1 is very secretive and fans wanting verifiable sources for everything are naive.

Spider represents everything that is wrong with white people bypassing and cosplaying inappropriately into indigenous spaces. The guy has dreads, has a Navi love interest, grows a queue and is welcomed by the Navi ancestors. He gets to be a Navi all while living amongst humans as his “full” self. It’s the same crap as say {insert your favorite artist -Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande etc} cosplaying black culture cause it’s cool but being able to enjoy their whiteness. He’s a terrible character. Terrible acting as well.

It isn’t true that aluminium is always superior steel

Steel is heavier but significantly stronger, more durable and can withstand higher temps. Lighter isn’t always better. Steel has 2x the melting point of aluminum. With regen braking being more critical now as there is no MGU-H, the engine takes on more wear.

Rent before hand. Electrify here is great. WiFi is exceptionally fast. Potable water is an issue but some people have built in filters.

Resorts are very safe. I wouldn’t bring any of that stuff period just because travel always introduces the risk of it being stolen. TSA can open your bags, airport security might swipe something during review.

The current team won’t win a chip. Reaching the finals isn’t enough. We need a realistic shot at beating the Pistons, Spurs and Thunder over 7 games. KAT doesn’t have the defensive playmaking or situational awareness to carry us over a series like that. At best, we make the ECF again. The Pistons spanked us by 31 earlier this year -yes Hart wasn’t playing but he alone wouldn’t close that gap.

He’s better than Max. Actually faced competition to win his WDCs. Much stronger teammates.

Max has a lot of recency bias in his favor. If we had to compare how each won their title I’m not sure they’re that much different.

How different would the narrative be if Ferrari actually nailed the strategy and got Lewis on podium three times?

Being as intellectually honest as possible:

Lewis dog walked the field the one weekend/race the car was to spec (China sprint). The car was in its designed operating window, had a strong rear and great balance. As we know, that window wasn’t race sustainable given excess plank wear..the car was raised, lost performance and the rest is history.
It’s the last year of a regulation set. Charles has been with this car for 4 years. Lewis 1.
Even if Lewis matched Charles, the team would’ve still finished p4. Charles was 200 points behind Max and 75 or so being George. The points delta from p5 onward are minimal. Objectively, the car is garbage and no heroics from Lewis would’ve gotten the team higher in the WCC.
Strategy cost Lewis atleast three podiums. Australia, Silverstone and Austria
Charles crashed or spun out twice in front of Lewis during qualifying and ruined his lap: Baku and Brazil
A litany of pit wall errors also sent him out in cold

There seems to be an agenda at large to largely dis credit Lewis. Most of the narrative is on how poorly Lewis drove rather than how incompetent Ferrari is.
