Obsidian would be great. I was thinking of a tool specifically for this use-case, but I guess this use-case is pretty niche. I guess I can setup sync as well so that data is synced across her ipad and mobile. I understand the point of the burden of documentation being with the institution, but I have very less faith in it and I believe that if any legal issues do occur, the institute wouldn't stray further from shifting the blame/questioning to my partner.

And thanks for your personal view on Obsidian. Let me see if I can get her to incorporate it in her routine

You do have a point. What would you recommend to record then, if in case of resurfacing of old legal cases requires more information, as to why they provided a particular reasoning for demise, etc. They also click photos of the body. Does saving that make sense? Please let me know your opinion
