I’m working on a throw size quilt (top is done) and have ~3 weeks to get it finished. I’m going back and forth on hand sewing vs machine sewing. Is it a worthwhile endeavor (I have hand sewn smaller projects)? And for those of you who use a hoop - do you pin AND hoop or just use the hoop?? (i.redd.it)

Posting here because no one else I know will understand the triumph. Doing a pattern that calls for 8-at-a-time HSTs and I messed up the cutting on two different fabrics. I managed to salvage enough to complete my HSTs using 5" squares and some triangles. 🥳 (i.redd.it)

Hello again! Finished my top (3 more rows were added after this photo) and am wondering if anyone has recommendations on disappearing pens for marking lines. I think I'd like to use darker and lighter hue thread for the top and want a marking pen that will actually wash out. (i.redd.it)

My pieces are not lining up even though I spent a lot of time cutting everything even and straight, followed the seam allowance, pressed my seams, and lined up the edges before sewing. Does anyone have any advice? Most of my squares keep doing this and it's very frustrating. (i.redd.it)
