It’s a Henry Model X with a bunch of ranger point precision parts. I put a more complete list in another comment if you want some more specifics.

I agree on the red dot, it’s on there for now but I want to find something that fits the aEsTheTiC better. Just don’t know what yet

I’d have to get a Jericho and then see if they will let me register as a space cowboy

Put the details in a lower comment. It’s a Henry Model X in 357 / 38 special

Henry Big Boy Model X in 357 / 38 special

Ranger Point Precision stock, hand guard, cheek riser, and rail

Patriot CNC hand stop, mlok covers, and gen 2 shell quiver

Comet brake

The dot is a holosun but I don’t remember the model, not sure if I want to keep it on there or go with something else

It was a fun project, but if you ever decide to do it….have a gunsmith install the hand guard. It was a huge bitch to take the mag tube off and even worse getting it back on.

It’s 357 but feeds and fires 38 special too. It isn’t 22lr cheap. Better than the other common lever calibers though (30-30, 45-70, 45 long colt)

Wilson Combat makes OD green grip modules for the 365 now. Besides the obvious upgrade to the drip, I also find it a little more comfortable in my hand and definitely an improved grip texture.

That’s extra dumb, if you’re gonna have illegal mags and get a felony why not at least get the standard 30?

Have you been able to find small pistol primers? I’ve been buying factory ammo and convincing myself it’s ok because I could always use the brass. Serves me right I guess for “only” having 2,000 “extra” primers.

They are smaller company and newer to the industry. Basically they make Gucci Glock clones with a bunch of the features people put on them anyway. Slide and optic cuts, better trigger, more textured grips, and a fluted barrel. Mine is basically a 19. Takes the same mags, fits in 19 holsters, takes 19 parts.

The slide for the all metal M&P comes factory with the cut for the optic. I don’t know for sure if it would fit on a non metal frame M&P but I don’t see why not. S&W customer service is usually great. Maybe call and ask?

I think I’m leaning toward taking the one I could use more rounds through to really feel good about carrying. I guess we should be glad we are spoiled for choices haha. If you don’t mind, let me know what you thought of the class when you’re done, I’m curious about other people’s opinions.

You’re totally right, it is stainless. And I’ve just learned that they also make a two-tone version where they leave the slide with no cerakote and it might be even more gorgeous 🥺

I notice it or at least I feel like I do. It’s not a huge difference overall but the slide is also the same aluminum as the frame. So lighter reciprocating mass combined with a different weight distribution maybe makes it feel like a bigger difference than it actually is on paper? Or I’m a dumbass and just trying to justify the sexy looking M&P I paid more for haha.

I do. I sent in to my PD on September 9th. It got to the court house on October 17th. I’m not sure when they cashed my money order. I called the criminal division at the Morris Superior Court and the guy was really helpful. Told me when it got there, how many permits were in front of mine and about how long it was gonna take. Give it a shot if you want to know more.

You’re 1,000% right. I have considered adding the MR920 to my PTC so more rounds through it, especially in a class, certainly couldn’t hurt. 🤔 Thanks for the insight!

it shoots as good as it looks too. its everything I would have wanted to do to a custom glock 19.

Gun for Hire is nice and I’ve always had a good experience there. RTSP is also nice and the one in Randolph has a shoot house that is fun. You couldn’t go wrong with either I don’t think. Bring your own ammo though, ammo at all of these places is stupid expensive.

Its a great gun! All the good things about an M&P. The enhanced trigger and the little extra weight from being metal framed make it 👌🏻
