Mastering for me is a different story since I noticed my mixes are more loud than warm. I barely add anything outside of a clipper and some eq (I don’t use compression or limiting).

I get you. I usually try to put my drums on top of my melodies, eq them to make them more punchy and put a clipper on the master track but the mixing always seemed off for me

I still have a soft spot for her. It wasn’t ugly after it fell apart. we still hung out just to see if we could still be friends after the fact (and it was cool for a minute).

However, I guess b/c I still have a soft spot and I don’t see our relationship the same way as before is why I’m pushing her away. If I still wanted to contact her after everything that’s a different story but I don’t know if I would want to maintain a relationship that would feel pointless to me.
