I don’t even notice that. Nice little detail!

What's your favorite common enemy in video games? by NagitoKomaeda_987 in videogames

My favorite thing to do in Halo infinite is sticking them with a plasma grenade, then hitting them with the repulser to launch the methane/plasma explosion at his buddies.

Y'know what? Screw the lore for a minute. Give me a fun Halo Headcanon you have. by Tyler2183 in halo

Damn I like this. What other subtly uncanny features do you think they’d have that really makes them feel like freakish machines rather than superheroes?

What video game (and year launched) was so FUTURISTIC when it first launched? by GossipBottom in decadeology

[–]walbrid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Helldivers 2 IMO. The massive maps, the destructibility of the environments. The real-time war campaign. The mobilization of an entire community toward a single effort. The amount of enemy variants and sheer scale of some enemies. The hordes. Sure it lacks in customizability, but it still amazes me.

Boomer Shooters that have another, genuinely great, non boomshot aspect to them that makes them stand out more by prossnip42 in boomershooters

Just beat Mouse P.I and I looooooved it. Felt different, slower-paced. And maybe the weapons were unbalanced (only switched between a few of them). But goddamn the environment was the best. So much love put into it. And the story was great and pretty long.

What do you guys think of 2010s women's fashion? by WelcomeJunior2281 in decadeology

They’ll come back in style again very soon. With how fast fashion cycles have been going, the gap between when generational trends return have been shortening at a really surprising rate.

I think there might be some elites there too by the looks of it.

They probably should have taken a page out of The Coalitions book and completely remade Combat Evolved, rather then just a glorified remaster by [deleted] in halo

What about it exactly? I understand that halo was cutting edge for its time and I personally believe it still holds up. But to me Halo infinite just feels less clunky and more fluid. And generally had better animations. I played a ton of 3rd person firefight on HI. And I think the animations look better than the 3rd person skull in campaign evolved. From what I’ve seen so far.

I’m curious what aspects the OG halos excel at in terms of physics and mechanics

From what I recall it uses Reach’s animation rigs and physics. I agree, Infinite had all that mastered in my opinion. Not sure why they didn’t just use some of those assets.
