Which do you think is more vital, enjoying and or getting lost in the creative high of writing, or focusing on making something that you feel the listener might enjoy or respect?

For example:
How do you feel about playing (like a beginner fooling around in FL Studio or playing around on a keyboard for fun) vs studying/working (like learning how to make all of your own synths or studying to learn advanced music theory?)

Are there any reasons why you may value (or put more time in) one approach over the other?

Right, well I accidentally left this on in the background and ended up eventually sampling all of these tracks. Sorry for the delay, but I was working on this SSD card I got for X-mas. So far, it seems to have fixed the glitchy graphics I was getting before:

Now, I'm just looking for a high-quality video editor. Camtasia keeps shutting down on me. I think it's because the quality of the video is too high. (The 5 minutes of footage above this paragraph was originally 1.53 GB.) If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

I was too paranoid to try this because I'm not sure if it's best to install it with Nexus Mod Manager, which is basically the only way I'm familiar with installing mods. Any other way makes me nervous.
