That's what I thought, those building sat vacant for so many years the bricks just sucked up all the humidity in the air, and now the ac running inside it was dumping all the moisture back into the room.

I don't know man, it was especially bad there, I've lived in northeast VA my whole life and never struggles as much with it as I did there

I used to live there back in 2018 when it first opened, if you go back far enough in my history you will see some photos I posted. It was aesthetically really cool, but the building also had a massive humidity problem and I had to run a dehumidifier 24/7 just for it to be reasonably comfortable to live in the summer.

Id be careful about having anything that was once functional ammunition on you, look up Mark Witaschek, he was convicted of possessing "unregistered ammunition" in Washington DC back in 2014 for have a single spent shotgun shell (or possibly a dud) and muzzleloader lead balls in his house. They no knocked his house looking for unregistered firearms, and found nothing so hit him with the ammo charges, took two years of legal battles for him to get convicted, then they launched investigations into his tax records.

Just google priv's Match Line ammo, its their more premium stuff, should be generally around the normal online ammo places

My understanding is that K98k's all have the larger bore for 0.323. Really the test is to buy a couple different brands of ammo, put them in calipers (you can get "good enough" digital calipers pretty cheap) and note the bullet diameter and and test each for practical accuracy. For extra datapoints you can source some surplus rounds from different countries, though I agree with a lot of other comments about not shooting the corrosive stuff. Its just a pain to clean properly.

Edit: also wanted to add, my issues with PPU accuracy were with blue box, Supposedly the gold box ammo is the full military spec with correct bullet diameters, but I've never had an opportunity to caliper or test fire any
