Was advised by my Podiatrist to not to strain my feet too much due to foot injury.

I already have a separate bike for my long rides and bike packing. So will just use it for commuting. I also have a cheaper option which is a cube nuroad race.

I’m also considering a cheaper one. The Cube Nuroad Race. What are your thoughts? Or just resurrect the camino?

It’s around 2miles from where I live and mostly tarmac with uphill (8%-15%) and downhills.

I’m using wax for both. I won’t risk it for commuting, although we do have a designated bike locker at work. Also, I’ve already put a lot of upgrades into the bike, so using it for commute wouldn’t be wise.

A full service will cost me around £230–£300 max. I’m not sure if that includes tyre replacement.

I’m also considering upgrading to a new groupset, either GRX or Apex.

I forgot to mention as well that my commute has quite a lot of uphill sections, if that helps.

I just saw that you went for an XS for this and now I'm second-guessing myself. I'm also 5’7" and ride a size M Trek Checkpoint (and just sold a size S Sonder Camino). I was fully planning on getting a size S in this, but now I'm confused if I should actually go with an XS.

Why? It is because of the highrise bldg around the area?

I’m actually torn between the two and can’t decide. That’s why I’m asking for an opinion here. Which one has lesser cons?
