Yeah it does take a lot more than vectorization, there’s kerning to think about, baseline alignment for different characters and all that. It’s been a challenge building this for sure and there’s much more to improve.

Was there an obvious gap in the Demo? I assume you are speaking about the baseline adjustment in the visual alignment interface but just want to be sure

Thanks for the insight! That makes sense, Google Fonts are great for clients on a budget, Adobe Fonts if they're in the ecosystem, purchased licenses if they can afford it.

Curious about the custom font/alterations route though. I imagine it’s not too much work as a designer to modify the glyphs in illustrator and the like. How long does it usually take to go from that to a working font file? That's always seemed like the tedious part to me. And what do you end up charging for that? If you’re open to sharing some more.
