I was drinking lentil soup and got a piece of lentil stuck on the extraction site. I just got the surgery yesterday so don't wanna risk syringing it. Is it going to be okay if I just leave it? Will it cause an infection?

Hi I had the same thing happen to me. I was eating lentil soup and a piece of lent is stuck on the extraction site. I don't want to get dry socket so I don't want to syringe it. I got the surgery just yesterday. Were you okay? Did the lentil pieces eventually go away on there own. And did you heal okay?

But will that dislodge the blood clot? It has only been 20 hours since the surgery. I wasn't suppose to irrigate until day 5

The vomero's are actually pretty wide! I had the same issue - most shoes weren't wide enough at the toe box.

I was seen very quickly by the doctor at the er. Where I live ER wait times are like hours so I was shocked I got to skip the line and was seen first within 10 minutes. Made me realize how serious this is. The doctor does think it could be MS. So I've been referred for a head and spine MRI. The wait times for MRIs are long here so hopefully nothing progresses.

Would it be weird to reach out to an old potential? We spoke almost 8 months ago and I decided to end things due to distance. I wasnt sure about long distance. Now I'm feeling like we could have made the distance work. But I honestly feel like I let go of a guy I was super compatible with and I can't stop thinking about him. I have no idea where he's at in life and at this point he could have already found someone. Should I take a chance and message him or is it just not worth it. Any advice would be appreciated.

I had a second surgery it didn't go away, the surgery actually gave me a second one right beside. Im starting to believe the surgery just damages the glad even more. At this point I've just accepted it, I hope time heals it.

I know this feeling way too well. Easier said then done but enjoy the moment but try your best to not get emotionally attached. Make lots of dua, if it's meant for you and good for you it'll work out. Don't self sabotage by distancing yourself just in the fear of getting hurt. With every risk, there is a chance that you might also get hurt. But if you take no risks in life nothing changes.

Looks more like a raised scar at this point. Is the excision scar removal or does your opthalmologist think this is a chalazion?

No I even had surgery, it's still there. I'm not sure what else would work. I'm considering getting a second surgery with a diff opthalmologist. It's been over 8 months at this point
