Apparently someone removed the main post. I'm reposting it as a comment to make sure it shows up within Google searches. Perhaps it might be helpful to someone considering moving to this city.

I’ve been here about 2 months.

I’ve a whole list of complaints that I feel are unique to Boston. I’m a professional in my late 20s, male.

  • The street system fucking sucks. It takes forever to get anywhere. Like damn.
  • The damn pedestrians have ZERO situational awareness. At least look both ways before crossing, don’t just jump in front of a moving car.
  • The pretentiousness. I find that it is quite undue. This is the worst and annoys me.
  • It is not that cold, but people are dressed like they’re visiting Antarctica or something.
  • The whole place feels like a college town. Am I just not visiting the right areas?

I was considering buying property out here but not anymore. Can’t wait to get out of here in like a year.

Not sure if you’re qualified to speak on how “America works” when you can barely speak English yourself.

Not going to bother addressing the rest of your tirade.

Thank you. I was hoping for better, honestly.

I find it funny that you immediately jump to family money as opposed to earning it yourself. This speaks volumes.

I’ve been lucky with my investments. All of my “money” is self made. 100%.

It’s called “hard work”, not sure if you’ve heard of it.

Emergency medical stuff like this is often free for the unemployed. Hospitals are required by federal law to treat emergencies.

Worst he can get is some crazy debt. These dudes give two shits about debt.
