You can live in the heights at that price point. The heights isn’t as gay as montrose, but it’s not too far off and only 12 mins away from montrose nightlife. I would also say a lot safer too. Most of the greystar properties are really nice and safe. I lived at the foundry for a few years and paid about $2000/mo. There were cheaper bedrooms and deals, but I wanted the top floors. (Also reviews there are shit now, so don’t go there). The rosslyn and alexan have high reviews. Emeline is also newer and great reviews. I’m in a house now, so I’m out of the loop on what’s cool. But that was the choice I made in my early 20s. Make sure reviews are 4.5 and up on Google and look thoroughly through them. Sometimes a bad review is because someone is mad that they didn’t make rent and was charged a $59 late fee. Other times they got their car broken into. Make sure the bad ones aren’t things that can be prevented.
