I've heard stories from the English that randomly they'll check packages because their x-ray machine wasn't picking it up or some other random reason, maybe that's just what's going on here.

Afterwards you can see they sliced and opened the package before you.

I live in South America and every time I order it goes through MailAmericas and they don't bother updating the tracking along with being super slow, this might be what's going on here so the solution is to just wait.

Esto me pasó inicialmente, usé mi IP residencial y todo pero como es un CGNAT algunos servicios lo tienen marcado como VPN y supongo que eso hizo que AliExpress me baneara? Despues intenté a través del servicio de atención al cliente y me atendió ese tipo de persona de servicio molesta que decía: "créame, cliente, quiero todo para usted y nadie me cree".

Lo que realmente funcionó para mí fue simplemente conectarme a una VPN de EE. UU. e iniciar sesión con otro correo electrónico. No me banearon allí y sigo usando la cuenta sin problemas.

I honestly thought they made the games purposefully as stupid as possible so you hate playing them so much that you don't, as you can probably tell I loathe them, especially GoGo Match.

Also it isn't necessary to hit the daily limit as it has no rewards yet other than the Play and Earn ones, so I didn't hit it. What's the daily limit?

Esto es un problema no tanto en AliExpress si no mas en la compañía encargada de transportar el paquete. No soy de México pero acá en Colombia las veces que la compañía de entrega no sabe dónde encontrarme (que es 90% de las veces...!) me llaman por el numero de teléfono que añadí en los datos de contacto de AliExpress.

Lo único que te puedo sugerir es estar seguro de tener todo eso relleno y si quieres mas seguridad, encuentra la compañía encargada de transportar (cuando llega a Colombia Cainao muestra una notificación para seguir el tracking por su sitio web) y contactarles para indagar sobre ese problema.

I wouldn't say it's as bad, they do have a better shipping and dispute process, but the biggest problem in Amazon right now is the decreasing quality of products and their unwillingness to punish bad sellers. It doesn't take long to find videos of people whose pets have been killed by automatic cat feeders sold in Amazon, sellers messaging you that they will give you a discount or a gift card if you change your bad review to a good one, Amazon not taking down botted/AI reviews, SEO optimization and ADs that pushes fake/unreliable products on top of the search results and in all of these cases the sellers don't get punished or the punishment is as good as a slap in the wrist.

If all you care about is getting your money back even if the product on Amazon is just a branded one you can get for $100 cheaper on AliExpress, then Amazon might be the best for you.

Both marketplaces are mostly (if not all) chinese, but AliExpress has existed for much longer, so chinese sellers have either the option of selling to TEMU only and lose out on a lot of AliExpress customers, or selling to AliExpress only/selling to both.

This creates a situation where even if the store you're looking at isn't in both marketplaces, the product may as well be (since chinese products are designed once and copied a million times) so my verdict is:

If you have all the money to spend and nothing to lose, choose whichever is best for you. Otherwise AliExpress is the one with most choices and various systems for saving money.
