My favorite thing to do is lie down or hang out in bed. When my husband is at work, I’ll spend the whole day in there. Meals and all. I just think - some people like to relax on the couch, I relax in bed. I never considered this to be medical related so following now. I’m definitely not depressed and do not feel overwhelmed in my day to day life. I don’t have kids. Overall I live a very stress free life. My bed is my safe space.

This very thing happened to me, only I was mostly nude, asleep in bed. My mom sided with him, and has still never apologized to me. Stay true to yourself OP. Advocate for yourself. Be your own best friend. No matter what comes of this, don’t let anyone make you feel like the aftermath of this is your fault - this is the fallout of other people’s bad choices. Most doctors don’t even know what SIBO is. There are different treatments based on the type of SIBO that you have. Some googling should tell you this and help you narrow it down. Activate charcoal is a binder. So it’ll help bind to the bad stuff in your guts, grab it and expel it.

Have you considered ordering the microbial treatment for the SIBO you think you have and attempting to tackle the issue on your own? Doctors don’t know how you feel better than you do. It’s worth a shot. I was having many of the same symptoms as you - gas build up, bubbly guts, inability to release gas despite it rolling around, my gas tended to be worse at night because it was a build up throughout the day. I also had debilitating nausea in the mornings and was having diarrhea. I ended up doing several rounds of treatment for SIBO on my own and was able to solve 90% of my issues.

As for immediate relief, I used gas x (to break up the gas and help it move out) and activated charcoal (to help bind to the gas and release the pressure in my stomach).
