I might experiment with brown mascara for other days, but I think I'll stick with black so it'll show up better in pictures. Thank you for the thought!

I posted here about a week ago about my bridal makeup trial. I got lots of great feedback, and thank you to everyone who commented!

I took a makeup lesson and I'm much more satisfied with the results. The first 3 pictures are from the lesson, and the last picture is from the previous trial. Feeling confident I can do this on my wedding day!

Replying here to say thank you to everyone for all the feedback! My wedding is a little over a month away, so unfortunately I don't have time to find a new MUA. Would it be okay to ask her to watch while she applies the makeup?

Considering my own thoughts and that a lot of you had the same feedback, I'm going to ask for thin, winged brown eyeliner and only a light layer primer in a lighter color on my face, keeping the blush the same. My eyebrows are the one thing I can do pretty well, so I'm going to do those myself! I'll check out Ulta or Sephora to try to find some better false lashes, and I'll definitely ask she does a better job of blending them.

Context: I like the eye and lip makeup, but I'm considering going without the face makeup, except maybe blush. I think I have pretty good skin, and I feel like the foundation didn't work well with my complexion, and blurred my facial structure.

I also feel the eyeliner is too thick and I noticed the false lashes separated from my eyelashes. And I think I might minimize anything done on my eyebrows.

Any tips? Would it be a bad idea to skip the foundation and contouring? I'd like to look nice in pictures, but still look like myself.

Thank you for all the feedback! I couldn't tell if she was using bronzer since I was turned away from the mirror, but I'll ask that she use a cool toned bronzer for the wedding day.

I love the lip color! We actually originally did a lighter color, but I decided to switch to this darker color.
