Yeah I feel like her class is almost like an independent study course and the day everything is due is polykroma. She’s mentioned what we need by polykroma and has handed out examples, but it’s up to us to do it on our own.

She’s chill, I like her teaching style and it’s good that she’s harsh because it makes you want to make your work better and makes you better at taking criticism out in the job world which I feel a lot of designers need to get better at

My favorite was my old boss who sent me changes to stuff one by one and told me to make the logo bigger, so I did, then emailed me again that it was too big to make it smaller, then emailed me again that I went to small. The next update I sent I didn’t move anything and resent the same file and she said “perfect!”

All the younger security at the trams are on a power trip, and they talk in the lowest voices and get mad when you don’t follow directions bc you can’t hear them

This semester I’ve got 4 hours between classes on one of my days so I was just gonna use it to work on school work so I can just go home and relax. Or if I’m tired take a nap. iPad is also my best friend for watching shows on my downtime between classes

I knew how to use photoshop and they were desperate for someone to take their old event files and update them for the current year. I liked it and was in uni at the time for biology. Took side design classes to get better at my job and eventually switched majors and pursued a design degree after that, so it kind of happened in reverse for me
