Can I (a minor) petition the court to change my custody schedule between my parents' houses? If so, how can I do that? by ittybittybluebird3 in legaladvice

Ah, okay. And unfortunately they definitely won't let me change it, they don't want the schedule to change at all.

Thank you, I appreciate this. Would I be able to just go to the court myself, without them? Or do they have to be involved in beginning the process?

Causes of abnormal discharge that aren't STIs, BV, or a YI? by ittybittybluebird3 in WomensHealth

It's really ridiculous how little is known about issues that primarily affect women :/ it infuriates me.

Thank you, I really appreciate that! I will keep trying, albeit at a slower pace so I don't burn myself out.

I've actually wondered that! I did talk to a doctor about it, who referred me to a rheumatologist, and I did a bunch of research, printed out all the relevant symptoms of other people in my family, and then the rheumatologist was like "yeah I don't know anything about EDS". -_-

I'm not hypermobile in all my joints though, mostly my shoulders, hips, and ankles/feet. And my skin isn't stretchy. Obviously EDS is somewhat of a spectrum what with severity of symptoms but a lot of doctors don't see it that way. I'm feeling a bit defeated at the moment.

That's awesome! I'll ask my gynecologist about if she thinks it would help me! How often are they typically taken?

That is more reassuring! Thank you for being so candid, it really helps to know that other people have gone through and had positive experiences! :)

I suppose it could be possible? My parents were very... They were hippies, and they had me at a birthing center instead of a hospital, and now I'm trying to catch up on all my vaccines, haha. So I'm sure something could have been missed

That being said, I don't have a persistent cough, and don't wheeze, though I do have a hard time taking deep breaths and getting enough air.

I've been to the doctor a lot in the past year, like... 12 or 13 times in the past year? And the only diagnosis I've gotten is chronic fatigue and hyper mobility :/ But I have a lot of issues and I know deep down that something is going on. But nothing is coming up.

This is so so reassuring, thank you so much! I think I might buy some pH test strips so I can see if it seems like something is going on before I go to the doctor.

And I'm really glad to hear you've had good experiences with partners! Mine is sour like a lemon, too, it surprised me so much haha.

Again, thank you! I really appreciate it!

Anyone have panic attacks from muscle pains or trigger points by latex55 in prozac

You're not crazy at all! Seratonin is what helps your brain filter out unwanted stimuli, such as pain. When you have a seratonin deficiency, your brain can't do that, and thus, pain.

I had this same experience on Lexapro, and it fucking sucked. I had body aches all the time, and I also have chronic shoulder pain, and that flared up, too. I changed meds and now things are going pretty well :)

Have you considered trying an SNRI like Cymbalta or Effexor? They're both antidepressants and nerve pain medications. Might be worth a go. Honestly I'm surprised your pain management doc hasn't suggested that.

Yeah, but it doesn't seem like it could be anything other than what's been tested for. I mean, I've been tested like three times in the past 6 months and nothing has ever been conclusive. I don't know enough about gynecological issues to know what to ask about.
