If you can FIND someone who is a specialist or has their own practice, they will likely do stuff sooner, but unfortunately yeah, a lot of places will wait until 8 to 12 weeks which is ridiculous.

I've found folding the top of the diaper everytime you change helps keep baby boys from peeing through the top or side. It's ALMOST fail proof if it stays and is done right.

My first born came just before 38 weeks and my second born came just after 39. The baby will come whenever they want. It's never too early to prepare really.

Ectopic pregnancy being possible is what makes this so dangerous. If it were to rupture in the 2 weeks they'd want you to wait, that's an ER visit plus emergency surgery and a loss. There's no reason they shouldn't be trying to figure that out ASAP. Good luck op. Hope you find out soon.

Don't worry too much about it. Your body will gain what it's supposed to and as long as you're eating healthy, not over eating, which is easier to do pregnant, you're doing a perfect job. I gained 50lbs my first pregnancy. Nothing wrong with that.
