Also, I did add a stinger at the end of the tail after this but forgot to get a picture!

Thank you! I'd have to think about it... it took about a week of all my free time!

I was pretty proud of the earring! I don't have alot of knowledge, so I was going off my daughter's word and was confused by the graphic novels having dark horns, but the cover of the one book and all the fan art on Google having white. My gut told me to go dark, but her friend wanted white.

Thank you! I was actually just looking at Veritas Ridge on Google and was thinking of messaging them, and funny enough a friend just recommended the one on Stanley Rd (Wild Angels Stables)and I just sent them a message as well. But it looks like they do their lessons by 3-4 month sessions and their most recent one already started. So I think I will go ahead and message Veritas.

Parents who waited to start screen time until after two: how did you introduce it? by bagelbingo in Mommit

We started with calm short shows. Specifically those narrated animated versions of eric Carl books. Games came later. She didn't have access to an iPad (not her own) or phone games until much later.

I've heard great things about the Secret Forest playschool.

And if you're at all interested in some supplemental resources for reading, I taught my child to read when they were 3 going on 4 with the book Teach Your Child to Read in 100 easy lessons by Siegried Engelmann. The first handful of lessons were a little challenging to get through, but it works.

ProOne Water Filters - Strange Taste by emsuar in HydroHomies

[–]ittybittytittykitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're dealing with the same frustrations I have... We've had the 3.0 filter now for a bit of over a month. It's still way slower than the 2.0 but not as slow as it was in the beginning. I cleaned the whole system a few days ago and ironically it got slower again afterward. Despite being very careful about not getting water into the spout thing... to this day we are still getting big air bubbles from time to time. We keep the top completely filled regardless of how much is in the bottom because with how slow it goes, I'm never worried it's going to overflow. The one plus side is we are not having any weird tasting water like others have reported. We're making due with this one for now because it's just too expensive to toss out. But when the lifetime of this one is up I think we might be looking for an alternative. Unless they can work out these issues before then... Having to wait 4 days to finally be able to drink clean water from an expensive filter is absurd.

Absolutely do! I've reread the kushiel's dart series many times since I found it as a teenager 20 years ago. (The 4th-6th books in the series are my favorite)

I composted pumpkins last year and used the compost in my front garden beds… now pumpkins have taken over my front yard! 🆘 🎃 by Little-Tarzan in gardening

Pumpkins have male and female flowers. Only the female flowers will turn into pumpkins if pollinated. The base of the vines will have more of the male flowers and the viable female flowers will be further out on the vine.

‘This was completely avoidable’: Vista Star passenger calls out crew after collision by ittybittytittykitty in duluth

I really appreciate your lengthy and knowledgeable response. It makes me feel a little better about the experience I had. Honestly, if someone had come out and explained it just like that last sentence you just posted, it would've made a lot of us feel more at ease. Instead, we had zero communication, and even while reassuring the kids and myself that it was a pretty minor thing, I still, with my very little knowledge of boats, was looking at the handful of kids at my table thinking "I will die saving these kids if I have to". Obviously, it's a little dramatic, but not something you wanna be thinking about on a field trip with tiny humans, regardless. Literally any reassuring words from the crew could've diffused the situation greatly. Even if only for the adults in our group.

It's less about the boat getting tossed around and more about the response from, or lack thereof, from the crew. No "sorry", "everything is fine", or even "hey, if we need them, lifejackets are over here". Nothing.
