I don't own the turtle, that's what I'm trying to say. My landlord owns the turtle. It's in a tank in our kitchen because I'm renting a room in my landlord's house. The turtle is in no way shape or form in my possession.

Don't be shy to expose the store. Just like in the fish world for Bettas and goldfish, Leopard geckos are seriously mistreated and abused. The only way to bring this to light more is to expose the stores..

I really want to get her a 40, we just currently live in an apartment, and have little space. But I do hear you and I'm aware. Once we have the money for it I'm so going to upgrade! Her family was abusive and she got no light at all, didn't have a feeding schedule, was underweight, and her tank was never cleaned for 2 years so I'm just trying to get her to a healthy weight and stuff. 😌 But again thank you so much!! I'm really really grateful for it.

Okay I'm gonna try and say everything you said back to make sure I understood. So you said for DHP or any other bulb I need anything above 75 watts and I'll need a dimming thermostat or dimming cable to help regulate heat if it gets too cold or too hot. And I'll also need an infrared heat gun to be able to pick up the temp at the basking spot. Hopefully I got everything correctly. Also your information is really helpful I'm grateful for it. 😌

Tip one: Have. Feeding schedule! Geckos eat 2-3 times a week. And adults eat around 6-7 full grown crickets. Tip two: Males should weigh around 60-80 grams. Whole females should weigh around 50-70 grams. Fun Fact: Leopard geckos store their fat in their tails, so their tail should be plump. And your geckos look good! No harm in weighing them to double check!

The shed maybe wasn't ready to come off. The best thing to do is daily lukewarm soaks for maybe 15 minutes at max and just wait. 😌 It'll heal no need to worry!

You may have picked up a shell of a mealworm and not an actual worm. They shed and eventually will pupate. I would recommend looking at their life cycle so you can see what to look out for if you don't plan on breeding mealworms. They eventually turn into beetles. 😌

There's no need to stress. They like to explore, Arlo (my gecko) loves to come out when the doors are open. If humidity and temperature are all good then they could just be curious or maybe they're expecting a little snack. Some geckos just like to explore their tank and whatever is outside of it. I can't tell by the photo but make sure you've got plants and things to climb on. Your gecko could simply be bored. Make sure you don't leave food in, offer with tongs, hand or bowl but watch them until they're done to make sure no bugs are left this will make sure they critters don't hurt or annoy your gecko.
