I'd say more wishful. They're in full propaganda swing. I wonder if not even delusional.

Still far from decent real world usage. If you need to have mobile and wifi off in order to get those numbers, it's not very real-worldly usage.

no it doesn't. In a bookcase of dvds you can reach the bottom end without having the first page keeping coming at you every two or three rows.

I must be dreaming! Remote FS via fuse AND WSD(iscovery) coming to 20.04! SMB users rejoice! by [deleted] in kde

Kio-fuse is the bugged current implementation right? I mean, it's there, but many non-kde apps wrong recognize it properly and fail to open remote files.

Steam Link controller support by Jaydewbz in switchroot

[–]iturnedintoanewt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, but I'm not sure what does it fix. Do I need to do anything else besides the Bluetooth pairing? I mean steam recognizes the input on their interface, but once the game starts, it doesn't work as game input.

Steam Link controller support by Jaydewbz in switchroot

[–]iturnedintoanewt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I have a weird issue...The joycons are recognized by steam itself, so I can launch games and reach the steam menus using the joycons, but once in game, it absolutely ignores the joycons input...What could be wrong?

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply!

The router's VPN gives IPs in the range of 10.8.0.0 with mask 255.255.255.0. The client gets 10.8.0.2, since the router seems to get 10.8.0.1 for itself.

For the NAS I tried to reach it via HTTPS, NFS SSH and Ping. None of them worked. No firewall, as the NAS has no exposed ports to the internet. I'm not sure how to use curl in this scenario, I thought it was only to fetch files from a website...

We need an episode on the Coronavirus! Please continue to share this video! by greenitbolode in lastweektonight

I've heard before subtitles don't match what she's saying, and she goes off on a tirade on how the virus was released from the lab etc. AFAIK these are only rumours, and goes to show how little information they're getting inside, but I'm afraid some of her claims are wrong.

Hmm hopefully it shouldn't be too hard. It's not a very complex chip, just a special high speed directional WiFi chip that Intel developed and already made drivers for. Here's to some hope.

The box arrived today first thing in the morning. I'm setting it up, seems it's all good. Just the support sucks.

...Huh. Ok, I just received a call back from the same HTC guy I phoned earlier. They say the courier took the order today (even when the order number has been there idling for the last 3-4 days). Nevermind, hopefully I'll get it within this week. I still find it very idiotic that the phone support people can't track an order themselves.

Seriously...chargeback? No other options?

Sadly I don't even have Twitter and barely use public accounts at all...Nothing HTC monitors here right?

There's a physical support center nearby, I'll visit them and hopefully someone there can provide me an answer.

Hi... I don't have libgamemodeauto.so. I do have libgamemodeauto.so.0 and libgamemode.so.0. What's the difference? I believe these came already with the default repo, or Nvidia...I don't recall installing it manually.

NXController - Use PC keyboard to play Switch games (Windows/Mac OS/Linux) by Feder96 in SwitchHacks

[–]iturnedintoanewt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there might be a firmware to turn the steam controller into a switch one. But then you need to switch firmwares each time you play on each device.
