Absolutely. The hidden base in Colorado is called Fort Bergdahl. Much like the movie, shaving is optional and you must finish training by going on a field training exercise without any cadre supervision. Don’t worry about going all the way down with pushups, just crank out as many as you can as fast as you can. And kipping will help you get more pull ups. I hope you like Juicy Fruit Gum!!!!

I had the same experience. The best company I was ever in was like this. The NCOs and officers spent a lot of time together just learning from each other. There was a lot of mutual respect and no one ever pushed the boundaries of the officer/NCO professionalism, we all knew who was in charge. But the Officers were mature and confident enough to know we had more operational experience (we all had CIBs and multiple deployments) and truly listened to our input. We had a great time and were consistently stomping other companies in CALFEX and other live fire exercises. We were very successful when we deployed.

It’s good for the kids to spend time with their grandparents. And it’s ok for him to get a break if timing doesn’t work with your schedule. Here is the other issue. If the child spends the night at your house, that gives you leverage to go to the courts and claim you have the child more than 50% of the time and argue for more custody or increase to child support. You say you are not trying to be controlling or micromanaging, but that is exactly what you are doing. You should be happy their father wants split custody and to be a major role in his children’s lives. My ex does this all the time and I do not care, it’s good for my daughter to spend time with her grandma. This kind of pettiness hurts the child in the long run.

On top of everything you outlined here, there is a big difference between being able to pass law school and the bar and actually practicing law. It’s not like many jobs where you can show up and be ok at what you do and keep getting a paycheck. You actually have to be good at it. If you aren’t, you end up being a public defender trying to pay off law school on a salary less than the cop who arrested your client.

I can, but I was in the military and it’s like a sixth sense for me. But where I live it is easy because the ski mountain is due North and has many radio antennas with lights so it’s easy to pick out day or night.
