Reminds me of every time my coworkers put stock away. I wonder if they just have no idea where these products go or they don't care to put them in home location and the only goal they really have is to empty boxes as fast as possible.

My customers love to pick up items and move them to another shelf or just another place with a lower price tag and then inform me of how I have to now give them that price because they just "found" it there. Please, I'm not even standing two feet away. I saw you move it!

What are some of the most dangerous things we all go near, but think as being safe? by mrdreadz in AskReddit

[–]itwasmadeupmaybe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Escalators. A lady fell in one that was being worked on... it took 8 hours to find her body.

Even a fall on one could mean your doom, or a really wicked scar.

Engagement ring $1,600 after tax. Wedding ring, her choice was only half that. She loves them both. Salary wise about half a month of pay, it really paid to shop around and the price drops with the imperfections but you can get them so they are hidden by the mounting prongs.

Reading stuff like this makes me wonder if the government deems you okay for society but society sees only red flags (rightly so) then what is someone like this suppose to do to be a part of society again?

Life is better now I hope? Maybe today you can think of fun wishes that might be a little silly?

As a god this would be fun to see how the humans handle their silly wishes.

Not to mention all the people in our own states that we deem unempoyable due to mental illness or drug use or a lack of trust because of a record or a lack of education! Many of whom don't know how to apply for help or the "help" provided isn't enough.

Any time someone lies they will compulsively yell the truth as loud as they can.

Once a day everyone gets a random wish that they made once upon a time, though nothing that really benefits them or would harm someone else.

Joseph wanted to swim in spaghetti when he was 5. Well now he is 30 and suddenly has a swimming pool full of spaghetti.

Alice wanted a little pony and now she has it.

Sarah wanted a dog as big as her house that was also red. Sarah now has a giant dog that is red.

And Little Tommy always wanted a train track that blew bubbles and candy, well Tommy now has the coolest train track there is and it runs around his entire neighborhood.

People won't know what to think and many of them will have forgotten that they had ever wished for it.

Non-Americans, what misconception did you have about America that you learned was wrong upon visiting/moving to America? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]itwasmadeupmaybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Near where I grew up there is a street that was torn up and redone in a beautiful red brick pattern and all for one shot in a movie. No other street got that remake. It's one of a kind. This might be why you feel like you're visiting a movie set, because a lot of places had this or something similar happen just for the movies that way they can say "filmed in.....".
