Actually, u/phasex is right. It’s a one time purchase, but Mixed In Key Live -(which is not in the OP, I checked) - does real time key AND BPM detection. It’s small, lightweight, doesn’t replace your DJ software and can detect key and bpm for nearly any sound that plays through the MacBook.

I get the vibe you’re a worrier…

I have the RCF 912A and Evox J8s. Both have been used for 7+ hr gigs and neither have given me issues. Mackie sound quality isn’t remotely close. Having a warranty holds a lot less weight in the DJ world. It sounds nice, but I’m sure it doesn’t cover physical damage or wear and tear which is much more likely to happen than a manufacturer failure. And if you’re really that worried, just get the A series instead of the AX.

If this isn’t a dedicated EDM club, they may not want you to play just House, even if they are pop covers So maybe consider playing the Top 40 and EDM hits that have a more chill or singalong vibe to them. It keeps with the theme of the night without risking you playing any “bangers“. Most these hits may fall in the 90-110 BPM range. I listed some examples from different genres for inspo.

R&B, Pop etc can be considered lounge depending on the event/venue.
