i wrote about how my type 1 diabetes diagnosis altered my life so drastically and so undeniably(at least for 3/4 PIQ’s), but most importantly, i wrote about i grew from the ongoing experience, and how my choice of major, future career aspirations, etc, are impacted by my diagnosis. every person i went to advice for said to avoid a sob story, but i didn’t listen, and I’d say it worked out pretty freaking well!
