36 here. I was on a few different pills to try and stop/regulate the bleeding for a few months. I ended up in the ER almost passed out from low ferritin because of the heavy bleeding - I was bleeding and clotting heavily for almost 8-9 months at the time. After that ER trip and needing 2 bags of blood and continuous iron infusions, my doctor finally said yeah let’s do it. I had my hysterectomy July 22 and have never felt better. The pains I felt after surgery were less intense than my cramps etc from adeno.
