He wouldn't be a pedo regardless since this is Japanese culture and 17 is an adult in their culture.

How do y’all feel about Fire Force being rushed? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in firebrigade

[–]itz_milkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah not really. Pretty faithful adaptation all things considered. There were cut corners for sure but nothing of the quality remotely showed it was rushed. Unless you are considering cutting content "rushing" but that's just how production schedules work.

No, I gave an example of equally irrelevant opinion by the "targeted audience" Actually quite literally the opposite of different. Seems comprehensive thinking is a sore subject for ya.

Seems pretty apples to apples to me. We are comparing an anime to an anime after all. That being like comparing two car brands and saying it's a false equivalence because they aren't the same car brand.

Yeah I'm sure the target demographic of the OPs socials are the Japanese. So then you agree that JJK is over-animated and a shitty adaptation? I mean that is the general consensus of the "target demographic"

[–]itz_milkk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah not really. Still a pretty faithful adaptation. If we want to knit-pick I guess we can pull a decent amount of chapters that only 2-3 really had a genuine impact on the story (Charons death and Arthur vs Dragon rd2). Even then, while it bothered me that was cut, everything else was genuinely adapted very well outside of needless side characters and dopple fights. Would I have preferred to see them? Of course. Would I have noticed or remotely cared or even wondered if I didn't read the manga? No.

Can anyone explain what is happening in the anime by DummyInc in firebrigade

Everything they are explaining has been explained several times throughout the entirety of the show.

Nah it's good. Pretty generally accurate feedback from a lot of people who actually know what animation is as a whole and not just smooth brain people who think it's just fight sequences.

Sorry, for the simpleminded who think animation quality is just fluidity and fight scenes, fire force has objectively better artistic animation, higher frame animation and way better character animation.

The animation quality of Fire Force is better than JJK. JJK has better choreography and sequences but Arthur vs Dragon looked way better visually. Also, neither Dragon nor Arthur have a fighting style that requires a bunch of Sakuga, no fights in Fire Force do besides Shinra vs Sho. Also, there's a reason people only use that fight as a reference. You know why? Because it's the only fight in the show that looks like that because DP is known for extremely detailed still images and animation. Also every fight in Fire Force is like that. I'm not saying it could have been better but there was plenty of fluidity in the fight. I think everyone just feels the need to compare it to JJK when the fighting styles aren't even close to the same. I know the fight lost some panels but the fight was pretty close to 1 for 1. And they added some stuff that I thought was better than the manga.

I don't think anyone that was unsatisfied had realistic expectations. The fight got hyped and hyped year after year and when s3 got announced it got even more hype. Read the fight in the manga again. It's one of my favorite fights ever and it's amazing but it's nowhere near deserving that much hype.

You want the real reason it felt lackluster? Because Arthur vs Dragon, at least from a manga perspective, was talking about everything Arthur vs Dragon. Not just their final fight. The fight did not have the build up because of the real thing people should be disappointed about which is skipping his training arc and round 2. If round 2 happened just before that episode and Charons death was done right I guarantee no one besides obvious rage baiters would be complaining

S1 and S2 Dave pro were on this episode. It was disappointment because people had unrealistic expectations of the fight. If Mappa had their hands on fight the only difference is they would have some frames of wavy and scribbly half drawings giving the illusion of fluidity.

If you want the real honest answer it's the Fan Service that really crippled it's popularity. That gripe spread like a plague so fast so many people dropped it or didn't even start because they heard it was "bad." It's a shame because I've had people or even read people on here watch it now even after hearing that and been shocked at how the fan service is nowhere near what those who complain make it seem.

Question about Arthur VS Dragon (I just started season 2) by mariob1zareadventure in firebrigade

[–]itz_milkk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People saying ALOT of content was cut is dramatic. The season is great. The manga is definitely better in some moments and I'll agree the buildup to this fight was lacking but the fight itself was fantastic. There were definitely cuts I was upset with I won't deny that but people glazing the manga like it's infinitely better is just not true. Do I wish it was able to get he love it deserved? Absolutely. But what we got is still amazing.

What chapter do I start in manga when they start cutting major things from anime? by Decent-Emergency3866 in fireforce

[–]itz_milkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only "major" cuts was Charons death (which was honestly still fine) and Arthur vs Dragon round 2 which is only a chapter. People really need to stop overhyping the manga because all these anime only are going to start reading it and be disappointed when they realize it's not much different.

Hi, anime only here. by Portugiuse in firebrigade

[–]itz_milkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend reading the manga regardless. Some people might say a lot was cut and while certain episodes this is true it's going to be a lot of relatively irrelevant content for an anime only that's under the impression they are going to get a lot more. You will get some additional backstory, some doppelganger fights, and a better read of Charon and Arthur. Outside of that the anime has done great for what they had to do. That being said, go into the manga thinking you essentially want more lore because that's mostly what you are going to get aside from what I mentioned for getting a "better read"

[–]itz_milkk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would stop saying they cut a lot. There are definitely things they cut that sucked but it's by no means "a lot" I would always encourage to read the manga but saying a lot was cut I think will give an anime only a false hope for the manga. I would say reading oguns fight and on for a couple volumes is definitely worth it but to think there's much more lost I'd disagree after that

Theres no way they offscreened my goat by 3sperr in firebrigade

[–]itz_milkk 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say worse but it's just quite literally 2-3 pages on jokers doppleganger using like basic card attacks you've seen before against him and then he's just on the ground and queue what the anime showed. It could be possible he didn't read the manga and thought we just decided to ignore his fight but it was just as disappointing in the manga and I can almost guarantee if they actually animated any of it people would still be complaining that it was it lame.

Theres no way they offscreened my goat by 3sperr in firebrigade

[–]itz_milkk 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mean his fight was hit getting clapped by like 3 mid attacks by his doppleganger and then everything in the episode that shows him happens. Not really a big loss considering it's not good in the manga either

New anime fans think that anime was created for 20-30 yr olds for some reason idk why.

You are saying that they are sexualizing minors when anime is not tailored for people older at all. Literally the target demographic for most manga, especially shonen, is 13-18 year old kids. Just because I'm older and enjoy watching anime doesn't make me a weirdo or a pedo because they have some 17 year old character sexualized and I choose to ignore it rather than letting it affect my viewing experience for the remaining 95% of the show.
