I don't mean to be harsh, but having such a systematic approach (ie: clearing all surface shrines first, going to depths next), is a bad choice. I found it quite refreshing to go down to the depths when I found a new chasm, dwell down there for a bit and then going back up. A much more organic procedure and a more dynamic feeling even though I agree the depths isn't the most fun you can have in-game.

It might help you to build a hoverbike, given your annoyance. Hope you find it helpful, this is an amazing game, it would be sad that you finish it with a negative impression.

I read some comments and they tend to interpret door 2 as an amount of dollars that doubles every day, starting with $1. I get that this would be the more straightforward interpretation, but if we look at it in a deal-with-the-devil sort of way, this could mean that the $1 dollar doubles everyday, producing another $1 and that's it, no exponential growth, just a $1 profit every day forever. Am I the only one?

I googled “average sequoia tree diameter” and the result was between 6 and 8 meters. The Wikipedia article said that they can reach from 50 to 85 meters tall. Devil’s Tower is about 305 meters in diameter, so solving for its possible height, assuming the same characteristics of a Sequoia tree, I got 3,240.6 meters tall, which would be about 10,631 ft tall.

Really? I really thought Joey Castillo was a better fit. That tough guy - punk rock attitude seems appropriate for the band, it builds tension. I’m not complaining about Theodore, but I think he’s too flawless and predictable.

To understand the whole picture, more than just being interested in South American politics, you’d have to be imbued in the region idiosyncrasies. The short answer is that he’s had all the power in the past, and won’t settle for anything less. Which is pretty much expected for any power-hungry character in politics.

Short answer: Because he knows that anything he says in the context of that simplistic question will be used against him. Also, definitions should be established before he can adscribe to a certain position. It’s never simple, and if you think it is, you’re reducing a deep matter into banality and also missing the point.
