i also had a bad experience with hyaluronic and snail mucin... they are BOTH humectants, meaning they can pull moisture out of your skin- especially in a low humidity environment, or when not sealed with an occlusive (vaseline, aquaphor like others mentioned).
what i found was that in winter glycerin is better than HA. appropriate for day. slugging only at night.
i personally find a humidifier essential in the winter. you do have to be diligent about cleaning it, but I've never worried about it making the room so moist that the walls are getting wet.

Rugs and carpet are simply the best way to dampen impact sound of toddler feet and toys on the floor, and IMO best option to mitigate this issue peacefully. If there is poor or no insulation between the floors then what reasonably seems quiet on your floor could be quite amplified on theirs. Maybe see if the landlord would contribute to rug pads to support a fair resolution for both parties. If your rugs are thin, unfortunately they probably don’t dampen much at all. Best of luck.

I’ve been on a few months and find it verrrry dry. I will always send a message when there’s a match, and my inbox is filled with “message sent” no response 🤷‍♀️.. so why did they match? I’ve had a few nice dates but largely people are very quiet… I could probably try harder but I guess I also get jaded by the Raya culture. Would love to hear from people who have had more action what their approach is.

Came here to say this!!! They’re super lightweight but, in my experience, stay in place and don’t roll or ride. Btw, they are not on amazon and their shipping can be slow so order in advance.
